TDoDK Chapter 1, Day 9: Freak Storm

I just had a nightmare. I’m sure it’s just anxiety over being left alone in this house, especially ‘cause of a certain haunted figurine…

“Stop falling onto the floor! No, you know what, I don’t care anymore! If you wanna stay on the ground so much, then I won’t pick you up again! I’ll just leave you there forever!” Yeah, I don’t need to worry about my parents hearing me freak out, so I’m free to yell at Inari as much as I want.

Anyway, back to my dream, or I guess it was more like dreams, plural; since I woke up each time I died. The first one was pretty normal, in the sense that instead of Azra pulling me out of the way, I saved him from that truck.

My second nightmare was a bit more disturbing. I was in this park, feeding and playing with hundreds of adorable foxes. It’s a real place in Japan that I saw when I was doing Inari research. Anyway, the little kits suddenly transformed into giant spider monsters and ate me, really slowly.

Dream number three, I was peeing in the bathroom upstairs, when the roof was abruptly ripped apart. Then a massive green Japanese dragon ate me. I thought that I woke up afterwards, but I was in a pit filled with angry snakes.

Now I can’t go back to sleep, because there’s a noisy storm outside and I’m kinda scared by this stupid haunted… “Holy, ah~! What the heck?!” A crow just smashed through my window, so I’m gonna stop writing now. Oh geez, there’s so much rain and wind, ugh, I gotta deal with this.

Inari’s gone! I don’t know how or why, but the stupid poltergeist threw my figurine out the broken window! It’s like a hurricane out there, so there’s no way that I’m going outside to find it. Besides, I needed to spend a few hours putting up a tarp to block out the rain. Also, the freaking bird wasn’t actually dead!

It was only stunned a bit from the impact. I don’t even know where it went. Every few minutes it makes this annoying *Caw~!* noise and then I hear some fluttering. I’m pretty sure it got into the attic when I was looking for the plastic tarp.

Welp, the internet is officially down, but fortunately, the power still works. Time to watch season-six, episode twenty-five of “My Little Sister Has Cat-Ears”. It’s the part where Minari gets stuck in a flower vase and nearly suffocates to death, while Hiro-chan tries to save her without being overly ecchi.
