It was almost morning when we finally reached our destination. We had been attacked by two more packs of Silver Direwolves on the way, but we were much more prepared than the first time. Liara and Johan were able to snipe one doggy each, before the other two were even able to reach our group. Then the Archers double-teamed one of them, while Granny Arin brutalized the other.

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 12: Princess
Chapter 12: Princess
I might be playing with fire, but I’m a dragon so who gives a fuck? I spent my whole human life living way too safely and look how that turned out? All I got out of it was anxiety, depression and regret. Sure, I wrote a few hundred books, but what did that do for me in the end?

Chapter 8: A City
“It always amazes me when I see this shit.” The scar-faced new ‘boss’ of the caravan was holding a coffee mug and sipping some plain water occasionally. He looked up past the huge line of carriages, wagons and gathered masses. There was a huge wall, at least a hundred meters high and stretching as far as I could see to the north and south. The wall was made of stone, with some huge guard towers that reached up even higher than the wall itself. It looked really old and weathered though. There were lots of places that were covered with green vines, moss, et cetera. A few areas had actually collapsed partially, though it was rare. Most of the ancient wall was still intact.

Chapter 2: Empathy

Something shiny and silvery on the outside, but delicious and pink meat on the inside. It’s funny because when I was a human, I would feel bad about killing a cockroach, yet I was totally fine with tearing apart a living fish now.
Revenge clouds guilt and empathy. A useful emotion.

Summary:
A 32 year old author gets Isekai’d into one of his own stories… As a dragon. The problem is that it’s one of the many stories that he never got around to writing in his last life. Sure, he knows a ton of backstory, hidden lore and even secrets about Gods or Devils, but he’s not even sure what planet he’s on!
On the positive side, he’s a dragon now. That’s awesome. On the other hand, he might have some minor mental issues to deal with…
Very Minor.
Yes, very minor. Almost inconsequential. In fact, one might say that he was perfectly sane for a dude that just got reborn as a dragon in what very likely could be a Hell Dimension of his own design.
We will survive.
“Otherwise this is gonna be a pretty short story. And I hate short stories.”
