The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 14

Chapter 14:

“What do you mean they escaped?!” The first thing I heard in the morning was Princess what’s her face screaming her lungs out while hugging me way too tightly against her chest.

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 11: Violence

Chapter 11: Violence

Revenge!

I was a little pissed off at first, but when I landed on the old lady’s windowsill again, I saw her feeding her cute black cat just like before. Nothing particularly strange or special happening. From what I could tell, Lanna was still just… Living her life as usual. Nothing changed. She probably didn’t even remember me anymore.

Tricks!

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 10: Witch

Chapter 10: Witch

“Hungry little fella, ain’t ya? Hehehe~!” The old witch cackled as she fed the cute black cat some preserved meat and fish from a glass jar. Then she looked over at me with her cataract-covered eyes, “How’s the stew, Sweetie? To your liking?”

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 8: A City

Chapter 8: A City

“It always amazes me when I see this shit.” The scar-faced new ‘boss’ of the caravan was holding a coffee mug and sipping some plain water occasionally. He looked up past the huge line of carriages, wagons and gathered masses. There was a huge wall, at least a hundred meters high and stretching as far as I could see to the north and south. The wall was made of stone, with some huge guard towers that reached up even higher than the wall itself. It looked really old and weathered though. There were lots of places that were covered with green vines, moss, et cetera. A few areas had actually collapsed partially, though it was rare. Most of the ancient wall was still intact.

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 6: Searching for ‘People’

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Chapter 6: Searching for ‘People’

I think I might actually pick up cartography. It’s a little difficult without paper and a pen but maybe if I ever find civilization, I’ll figure something out. But being a dragon does have a lot of benefits. I always did have a pretty good sense of direction, well not direction but directions. Actually I wasn’t very good at directions either. But I was good at knowing where I am and figuring out how to get to other places. When you have a bird’s-eye view, for a dragon’s eye view at least, it becomes much easier to make a map.

Fortunately my lizard brain is pretty good at remembering things. I still remember what those three mountains look like and I also remember the forest I passed over to reach this grassy plain. I’ve seen some wild horses and buffalo already. Makes me wonder if I’m in America, specifically the wild West or maybe the Midwest but like in the wild west era.

Chapter 4: Just A Normal Day

Where is my Mom? Seriously, where the fuck is my mother? Where are all the other dragons?

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 3: Everything Is Fine

Chapter 3: Everything Is Fine

One dick. Not sure whether I’m happy or sad about that. I guess it’s fine. I’m a dragon, not a ‘real’ lizard. I might not even be cold-blooded. I’m probably a scaly mammal. I don’t really know yet.

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 2: Empathy

Chapter 2: Empathy

“Oh my God, it’s so good~!” I bit down on the squirming giant fish and ripped out another chunk of meat! It was a perch, I think? Something shiny and silvery on the outside, but delicious and pink meat on the inside. It’s funny because when I was a human, I would feel bad about killing a cockroach, yet I was totally fine with tearing apart a living fish now.

Revenge clouds guilt and empathy. A useful emotion.

The Dragon I’ve Become, Chapter 1

Summary:

A 32 year old author gets Isekai’d into one of his own stories… As a dragon. The problem is that it’s one of the many stories that he never got around to writing in his last life. Sure, he knows a ton of backstory, hidden lore and even secrets about Gods or Devils, but he’s not even sure what planet he’s on!

On the positive side, he’s a dragon now. That’s awesome. On the other hand, he might have some minor mental issues to deal with…

Very Minor.

Yes, very minor. Almost inconsequential. In fact, one might say that he was perfectly sane for a dude that just got reborn as a dragon in what very likely could be a Hell Dimension of his own design.

We will survive.

“Otherwise this is gonna be a pretty short story. And I hate short stories.”
