When Klein returned and heard about Verna’s parents, he felt guilty. However, he knew that there was likely nothing he could have done. Of course, it didn’t stop Verna from tricking him into becoming a free ‘bodyguard’ for her over the next few months. At least whenever she needed to head into Kale Town, she would drag Klein along.

He eventually knocked on the door with his black metal cane a few times. Across the glass, he saw the huge, shirtless, extremely muscular monster of man. He was at least 2 meters tall, had a bunch of terrifying scars all over his pale body, along with some serious rashes, blisters and boils. His balding gray hair was a little messy, with some random tufts sticking straight up. On his bulging hairy left thigh a few centimeters from the edge of his green boxers was a tattoo: ‘Bodyguard V’.
