A gas mask appeared on Oliver’s furious face, followed by a metal hard-hat on his head. The man with the crossbow pulled the trigger immediately and the bolt bounced off the helmet, ricocheting over into the wall. Then the other man rushed over with a shortsword!
“You’re trying to murder me?!”
“No, no I didn’t! Don’t lie! You’re the one that started using magic first!”
“Shut up, you dumbass!” Jessie went inside the house and closed, then locked the door behind her, preventing some of the anxious people outside from interfering.

Oliver went to all his friends and even warned their parents directly, trying to make sure that none of them told anyone outside the village. Emerald, who was technically the current Village Chief, directly ordered that no one was allowed to go outside the walls until the caravan arrived. She also made sure the guards kept a close eye on the carrier pigeons. They also started preparing for the worst, organizing the hunters and miners into a militia to help the handful of guards keep a proper watch over the walls.

I’ve been kinda lazy lately and haven’t pushed out this volume for a while, even though it’s been finished for about a month. Anyway, sorry to the 5 or 6 people reading this.
I just need to put a quick disclaimer which is slightly different from the others. I only vaguely understand Spanish and the Goggle-Translate option doesn’t have ‘Argentinian Accent Spanish’, so in case there might be like 1 or 2 people who know that in the south of Argentina, they use Vos and their ‘y’ sounds like ‘sh’ in some instances… I’m not gonna bother going through and changing that. Besides, parts of this story might take place in Southern Patagonia, but a lot of the actual characters are not necessarily from that part of Argentina or they aren’t even from Argentina at all.
There’s also a part in the very beginning where I used a translator to try to make characters sound… Like they’re from the Falkland Islands? Does anyone know what people from there sound like? Who they speak? How to write out an accent like that? Maybe some people from the Falkland Islands will get angry in a few years when this story becomes famous somehow, so sorry ahead of time. Same with Argentinians.

Disclaimer: As with almost all my stories, there’s nudity, sexual themes, sexual content, descriptions of violence, brutality, insanity and all those nice happy things that people like to read about during the holidays. Lots of cursing, but that’s just normal by now. It’s more abnormal and jarring when people don’t curse. I was gonna edit out the ‘sex scenes’ originally, then I realized… There’s only like one and it’s barely even a sex scene. This might be one of the least NSFW story I’ve written! Of course, it’s only 40 Chapters… Not much. Anyway, good luck!
Yes, I did just copy-paste that disclaimer and then change 39 to 40.
I debated whether to remove the sex scene from literally the first few paragraphs of this book but… Meh. It’s nothing you all haven’t seen before on literally every ‘Mature’ TV Show in the past 10-20 years.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, et cetera! Here’s the first volume of a story I started writing this month! Has it been edited? Hahaha~! No. But I did just spend an annoying amount of time and effort going through and adding ‘Chapter’ in front of all the chapters in the Google Doc, then copy-pasted it onto here. Hopefully there aren’t any major problems.
