Okay, so recently I’ve discovered an awesome site called “Yukkuri Freetime Literature Service“.  I’ve just added it to my “Stories That I Follow” list by the way.

Anyway, since I spent so much time the past few days devouring stories on there, here’s a short review/advertisement.

First of all, the one I just finished reading!  Literally a run-on sentence title, but whatever, it’s Japanese so what do you expect?

When I was going out from my house to stop being a Hiki-NEET for 10 years, I was transported to another world.

I put all three versions of the title, because why not?

So~, most importantly, I found this story to be hilarious.  Just, the premise, the MC, the way the author explains what the dog ‘probably’ wants to say, and the way the main character reacts to everything.  Most importantly, the Bulletin Board conversations…

Without giving away any spoilers, since this is still in the synopsis, I’ll give a little info about the story.  30 year old HikkiNeet finally decides to leave the house after his parents die… but he winds up transported into a fantasy world, with his house.  He has water, electricity, gas and even internet for some mysterious reason that has yet to be explained.  Kotarou is adorable.  Alice-chan is OP.  Even Yuuji is pretty overpowered if you consider the fact that his ‘cheat’ ability is basically having an indestructible house to hide in and access to the internet, along with all the information from our world.

This story has really long chapters, even though there aren’t that many of them.  I think the overall length of the story that has been translated so far is probably 150k words or more.

I haven’t gotten into a story like this one in a really long time.  But~, this one was really impressive to me.  The MC is intelligent, but not a genius.  He’s kind of a pussy, yet still a bad-ass at the same time lol.  To avoid spoiling things, I’ll just say that I enjoyed reading about the ‘Hero’ abusing his knowledge from our world, in order to ‘reconstruct’ the kingdom :).  There isn’t much action… but it’s still very entertaining lol.

There’s only 3 chapters so I won’t give a review… or maybe I just can’t yet lol.  However, I like what I’ve seen so far and hope that they start translating this story faster in the future.

Okay~ then, so that’s my excuse for being so slow lately lol.  Well, I’ve been kinda out of it since Jury Duty… Like, it was literally a week ago, but I’ve only gone to sleep about 3 times, so maybe that’s why my days are so messed up?  QQ
