Twitch Streaming Nonsense

My Brother started Twitch Streaming recently and I was like, “This looks like something I could do!”

Well, like literally anyone can do it, which is why there are so many Streamers out there lmao. Anyway, my Twitch is Michael777ac for some reason. I know, why not Mike777ac? I don’t remember. It’s been a long time since I had to make a Twitch account for WoW way back whenever they started doing that nonsense.

I have no idea what games I would even Stream to be honest. Probably weird shit like Vampire Survivors. Maybe I’ll start playing WoW again? I don’t know. I’ve spent the past few months Binge Writing “Another Summoner Story“, which is a Fanfiction. I’m at like chapter 665 and I’ve gotten into the chaotic nightmare that is Dragon Ball now. Like seriously, it feels like I’ve spent dozens of chapters just trying to figure out how to make sense of this goddamn crazy ass Power Level System in Dragon Ball.

By the way, after the Demigod Phase is the Planetary Deity Phase. A good example is One Piece, which I wrote about a lot. When Big Mom was like 5 years old, she probably had a Power Level of 10-ish, which is about the same as Goku when he was 12 at the start of the Series. So it’s not that bad. Keep in mind that Big Mom is by far the most talented character ever introduced in One Piece that I can think of off the top of my head. At around 6 years old, she was already in the range of weak Vice Admirals of the Marines. Or a ‘Legend’ in my own Power Level System, which I didn’t rip off of Skyrim Difficulty Names… Anyway, Legends are like the peak of Mortals. Captain America from Marvel might be in the range of Masters or Grandmasters at most. Even though he seems to be able to fight with monsters all over the place, his actual stated ‘power level’ should still be under Legends like Kid Goku.

The entire Dragon Ball Series goes pretty smoothly imo. It gets a little weird, with Master Roshi obliterating the Moon and shit like that, but it’s still not totally impossible. Because it’s been shown many times that the Battle Power, Combat Power or Power Level of an ‘attack’ can be much higher than what the person usually shows. However, at the start of DBZ, everything goes out the window, because that’s when they first get started with the whole Power Level thing.

Goku had like 400-500 Power Level and fought against Raditz with 1500 or so. Vegeta comes along a year later with almost 20k, and he can easily destroy planets, maybe. It’s debatable. Then you get to Frieza, who has 120 million! WTF! There’s only like a week between Goku barely defeating Vegeta and then having to fight against Freiza, raising his Power Level from 8 or 9k normally, to over 3 million! Then he gets SS1, which is just insanely over powered!

When you get around to GT or DBS, you end up with obscenely high numbers. And they kinda just give up even trying by that point anyway. However, people still love to take out their calculators and theorycraft exactly how powerful these OP characters really are… At least, from my perspective and what I’ve seen other people speculate, Beerus, the God of Destruction, should be around 10+ Septillion Power Level! Septillion! In perspective, the range of destroying Supergiant Stars casually, according to my bullshit Power Level nonsense, is only in the Trillions! So Beerus is a trillion times stronger than a Supergiant Stellar Deity! Which actually isn’t that strange, if you consider that he can easily destroy Galaxies. And there are trillions of stars in a galaxy… Or some such bullshit.

Novice: 1.
Beginner: 2.
Adept: 3.
Expert: 4.
Master: 5.
Grandmaster: 5 to 10.
Legend: 10 to 100.
New Demigod: 100 to 300.
Experienced Demigod: 300 to 500.
Mature Demigod: 500 to 1000.
Planetoid: 1,000 to 10,000.
Rocky: 10,000 to 1 million.
Gas Giant: 1 million to 1 billion.
Main Sequence: 1 billion to 10 billion.
Red Giant: 10 billion to 1 trillion.
Supergiant: 1 trillion to 1 quadrillion.
Small Nebula: 1 quadrillion to 10 quadrillion.

My brother also started up a Youtube for his Streams btw. Honestly, I don’t really like Dead By Daylight, but I literally bought the game(On sale for like 7 dollars) so I could play it with him and he wouldn’t fucking play with me. Just because I have a DC issue and also have no idea how to play the game. So rude. Anyway, he’s pretty funny imo. Idfk how he can play that game for like 5-6 hours at a time on stream.

I really don’t say this enough, but thank you.  To everyone who donates through Paypal and Patreon, thank you the most.  You’re literally the only reason that I can continue to keep writing.

Honestly, if it wasn’t for you guys and/or girls out there donating, I wouldn’t be able to afford to keep writing.  I definitely would have stopped writing last year if it wasn’t for all of you out there who donated and supported me.

By the way, I know that a lot of translation sites have so-called ‘sponsored’ chapters.  Even a lot of writers have been doing that lately.  I never really did anything like that before and actually, I wouldn’t know how to do it lol.  What I mean is that I don’t know how to make that fancy ‘sponsored’ bar thingy that they have.  Otherwise I would totally make sponsored bars for the various stories… For example, I haven’t written a chapter of “Questing” or “Immortal Soul” in over a year.  However, if people sponsored a chapter of either, I would definitely stop writing “The Dao of Eros” in order to write a chapter of either of them.  Same thing with “The Vanilla God” and “Hardcore OP-ness”.

When I started the Donations and Patreon thing, I was only working on HCOP, that was it.  Plus, I was able to write a lot faster because I didn’t really need to think much about anything and just do whatever.  Then, towards the end of ‘Book 1’, I actually started working towards an ‘ending’ of sorts.  After it happened, I started working on ‘Book 2’ but… Well, to be completely honest, ‘Book 2’ is basically a different story lol.  What I mean is that, although it does indeed happened directly after the events of Book 1, “Noobaggedon” is going to be much closer to the first ‘Book’ in the way it’s written and the fact that it takes place in Arcana(Immediately after the events of the Epilogue).

I’ve basically just been writing wherever and whenever my inspiration takes me.  People who donate or pledge at least 10 dollars get access to a lot of stuff… For example, “Hardcore Legacies” is currently at 106 chapters, “The Vanilla God” is at chapter 9, and “The Dao of Eros” is at volume 3, chapter 23.

By the way, for everyone who Donated or Pledged, let me know if you want me to put your name on the ‘Donations’ page and make sure to tell me how much money you donated(if you want).  Honestly, aside from that very first guy who donated like 200 dollars, no one else has ever told me that they wanted their donation to be made public.

If someone could tell me how to do that whole sponsored bar thing, that’d be cool… Until then though, for those of you who have donated and have access, I’ve added a ‘suggestions’ doc for you guys to tell me what you want.

Also, I don’t think I’ve ever really talked about this before but, if you’re using my website without adblock on, thank you very much!  I don’t get much from ads, but it still adds up to something decent.  So if you want to support me, but can’t donate or pledge, just read my stories without adblock on.  I think that probably only a third of the people who view my site actually have adblock turned off.  1 view without adblock on, gives me like 2 ad impressions… I’m not totally sure how ad impressions work exactly, since they seem kinda random, but 100,000 of them is roughly 50-100 dollars?  Although, there was one month where I only got 15k and they gave me .38 cents, so who knows how they actually work?

Anyway, that’s pretty much everything I can think of at the moment… So don’t use adblock, donate if you want to help me survive and if you’re a donor or patron, you’ll have a say in what I actually write.  There are actually a decent amount of stories that I’ve never posted and are just sitting around, waiting to be written…

Also, this is kind of random, but I’ve wanted to try streaming before lol.  I’ve also wanted to try recording an audio book roflmao.  Can you imagine “Hardcore OP-ness” as an audio book?

I wish I knew someone like Meghan McCarthy to do Jasmine’s voice.  Unfortunately, no, I’m not good at imitating voices rofl.  Singing… kind of.  I have a pretty good vocal range when it comes to singing, but speaking, not so much.  Honestly, I always wanted Sarah to be British, but I don’t know how to write a British accent.  Not like high-class British though, or maybe Scottish would be better?  I can barely even understand Scottish accents though, so I definitely can’t ‘write’ them out phonetically lol.  Michael is from Baltimore, so he kind of talks like my father, where I don’t actually have an accent unless I intentionally try to have one?

Sigh, if I made one of these “Try Not To Laugh Challenge Videos” it would just be 10 minutes of me laughing hysterically and eventually asphyxiating myself to death lol.  I’m the type of person who laughs at everything though… Continue reading →

Every now and then I feel like making non-chapter posts about various random things, for a myriad of miscellaneous reasons.  Today’s randomness stems from my strange desire to share things with people, likely related to my obsessive compulsive disorder lol.

Anyway, the first bit of sharing has to do with Facebook.  Pretty sure that most people have a FB account or use it in some capacity.  I personally enjoy sharing adorable animal videos whenever I see them… but that doesn’t really have anything to do with what I’m talking about atm.

So, I found this group the other day called “WuxiaWorld Readers” and I decided to join.  It’s pretty small right now, but I have a feeling that sooner or later it’s probably going to be relatively huge lol.  I mean, if they actually advertised it on Novel Translations or even in the WW comments section, they could get a few thousand members in a day.

If you decide to join it, then you could probably find and add me on Facebook, and I accept pretty much any friend request.  Just don’t troll me please, or post weird shit on my wall rofl.

Back to the main point that I was trying to make… Essentially, I’ve noticed that a lot of people are either ‘new’ to the whole translation-addiction thing.  Either that, or they simply don’t know the biggest sources of crack-erm, I mean, ‘reading material’.

Now, even ‘I’ have not uncovered every single webnovel ever, because that’d be ridiculous lol.  However, there are a few that I pay more attention to than others.  Anyway, feel free to post links to various websites that ‘host many translations’ in the comments, since I know that I only named a few of them.

Another great resource to use is Aho-Updates and other similar sites.  I only linked Aho-Updates, because they’re the only ones who have “Hardcore OP-ness” on there roflmao.  Most of the other ones only deal with translated stories and websites that host translations.

I honestly don’t understand how to ‘do’ Twitter, but if you’re a Twitter-er, then you should ‘follow’ me lol: Mike777ac.  Seriously, I only have like 31 followers as I’m making this post, so it’d be funny if there were a few thousand in a couple months… Yeah, I don’t really expect that, but who knows?

Last but not least, this is a link to my current ‘Favorite‘ songs.  It changes a lot, but it’s basically the playlist on YouTube that I listen to all the time :P.  At the moment, I really like the first song “The Evil King“, I have no idea why, but it’s really catchy for me.
