TDD V2 Prologue 3: Beatrix

Author’s Note

This is probably redundant, but in order to prevent confusion, I’ve decided to directly tell you whose perspective the chapter part is being told from at the beginning of that part. Back when I wrote “Immortal Soul” I remember that no matter how obvious it was, there would always be people asking “Whose PoV is this from?!” Even if within the first few paragraphs the person literally identified themselves in a ‘natural’ way… So I’ve decided to just tell you all directly. It’s not as ‘professional’ in my opinion, but whatever, it’s a webnovel atm lol.

Also, if you’re wondering why I will probably never write from Azra or Yuri’s perspective… It’s because it would probably take a lot of research. I remember back when I wrote “The Inventor” a chapter from Ailyn’s perspective in “Immortal Soul”, I spent a lot of hours just trying to figure out how things worked and how to explain everything properly. It’s just way too much effort to get into the mindset of either of them and write from their perspectives. They’re supposed to be ‘geniuses’ to a certain extent and their minds mostly revolve around their obsessions. It would probably be a lot like writing a wikipedia page :P.

Anyway, there’s still 3 more parts to post.

TDD V2 Prologue 2: That Fateful Night

The moon disappeared from the sky and the whole world was set adrift in the Chaotic Void. Even if the mana-barrier protected the planet, the chaos and destruction that occurred was sudden and unfathomable. Continue reading

TDD V2 Prologue 1: Elysium

The Elysian Continent was divided into two halves. The Humans controlled the north, while the Dwarves ruled the south. As for the Giants and Gnomes, they usually intermingled with the Humans and Dwarves. Continue reading

Tower Defense Deities Volume 2

I just finished editing the prologue of volume 2, so I’ll start posting it now. It was originally like 9 parts, but I condensed it into 6. Some of the parts are pretty long, at least compared to chapters of HCOP lol.

Also, I’ll warn you ahead of time… This is the first time I’ve written in first person present perspective before. There are a decent amount of first person perspective parts in volume 2. There are a few in volume 3, but so far, there haven’t been many.

There are some things about first person present perspective that I like, but other things become difficult. It’s good for having telepathic conversations between only 2 people. Terrible for having normal conversations lol. Then there’s the fact that you can’t really describe things too much, or it ruins the whole ‘present’ part. It’s much easier to write in past perspective lmao.

Anyway, that’s all I wanted to say. Now I need to post things, so I’ll stop talking now… Here’s some music 😛

Prologue: Ares

HCOP Book 2, Chapter 100: Chaos

Earth and Mars were closer than they used to be, but they were still over a hundred million miles apart. It was incredibly difficult to pass messages from one planet to the other, especially because there was so much ‘noise’ in the atmosphere. The best method was simply traveling through the portal, but even that required plenty of time. Thus, several hours after Iris died, Gabriel still had no idea that Minari had even woken up. HCOP Book 2, Chapter 99: War

A brown-skinned fox-girl was casually walking across a beautiful crimson meadow. The sky was red and it was possible to see a constant stream of explosions on every horizon. However, for the most part, that patch of land was a ‘safe-zone’. Continue reading

They Finally Arrived

No clue if this will actually work or not… But I’m trying to embed my facebook post into my wordpress post lmao.

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but WordPress only lets you have a very small amount of pictures, so I didn’t want to waste a bunch of that space with these. However, I’d like for people to be able to see it :).

The two books I ordered finally arrived… And I’m pretty excited that there weren’t any major problems that I noticed lol. At least not from my perspective as a person who has literally never read a physical book before in my entire life. I’m sure there was something I screwed up though.

Also, two books together weigh about 6.4 pounds, roughly 3 kilograms. The standard size for books was like 6×9, but after going crazy trying to format everything properly, I just said “This is good enough!” And then I picked 8.5×11, so yeah, it’s a big book lol.

TDD V1 Epilogue 2: The Cruelty of Karma

There are consequences to every decision and a reaction for every action. Karma wouldn’t allow anyone or anything to escape punishment for their sins. However, it was difficult to tell who was good or evil, when everyone was being judged for crimes that they hadn’t even committed yet. Continue reading

TDD V1 Epilogue 1: Captain Angelos

*Author’s Note*

Welp, this is the end of Volume 1 of “Tower Defense Deities”. I mean, Epilogue 2 is going to be posted shortly after this one, but that’s the end of volume 1. I’ve written all of volume 2 already, just haven’t edited it yet. I still have volume 3 of “The Dao of Eros” that needs to be edited and posted too, so I might start doing that one next. I don’t really know. Right now I’m binge-reading “Release that Witch” and getting annoyed at how similar a lot of things in TDD are to it… But overall, it’s still pretty different lol. TDD V1 Chapter 9, Part 6: Genetic Variation

Henry’s medical treatment required nearly an hour, so once Yuri was finished giving her cousin a helping hand, she returned through the portal with the newly spawned sixth Goblin. Nos was four feet tall, bald, bony and frail, with a rather obnoxiously large nose. His eyes were big and bright-green. He also had beige human-like skin. Continue reading
