Okay~ then, so I have a few things to announce.  First of all, fuck my life, I woke up a day ago, after spending a whole day in agony, I finally started having trouble breathing and decided “Fuck it, I don’t wanna die!” and went to the ER.  In case you’ve never been to a hospital before, no, they aren’t like the ones in TV shows!  Goddamn it, I got there at 1:30 Am and sat in a waiting room until like 5 or 6 am!  The worst part is that I was actually one of the luckier people, because there were some who had to wait over 12 hours… Continue reading →

Hardcore OP-ness

I just finished writing the ‘Epilogue’ of the first book, or at least what I call the first book lol.  I felt the need to make an announcement about it :P.

Anyway, I’m not going to talk about the next book ‘here’, because there are still 41 chapters and an Epilogue that hasn’t been posted on the site yet.  Obviously, there are just way too many potential spoilers and I’m afraid to say anything about anything at the moment.

However, since I haven’t gotten any new donations or pledges lately, I decided to remind people about it.  I kind of want to take a break from writing for a few days… or something?  But mainly because I know that once I start writing book 2, I’m probably going to start getting devoured by it, like I did back when I first started writing Hardcore OP-ness.

I’m already really burnt out, so if I go straight into hardcore writing mode in my current condition… lol.  Anyway, I want everyone who has donated or is planning on donating to know that I’ll be placing book 2 stuff into the same folder that I’ve been using for the first book.  So~, if you donate 10 dollars or pledge 10 dollars, I won’t remove your access just because I’m starting a new book rofl.

I mean, sure, I’d probably get a lot more donations and pledges if I treated HCOP as over and started something new, but I don’t think that would be fair at all to the people who have supported me and helped keep me writing for so long.

Sigh, I can’t believe I’ve been able to finish a book in 4.3 months… I’m not sure if that’s long or short, but I’ve definitely written at least 100k more words in the last 4.5 months, than I did over the course of the 10 months I was working on Immortal Soul.  As for Immortal Soul, who knows?  I may randomly decide to start working on that again, but for now, it’s on hiatus.

I will say that “Immortal Soul” and “Hardcore OP-ness” do have a pretty strong connection to each other, but I can’t specify how.  After reading the rest of this first book and the beginning of the second, you should probably understand by then, assuming that you’ve already read “Immortal Soul”.

Anyway~, I can’t really think of anything else to say~, so I’ll just link so cute animal videos or something? lol

How Many Chapters Per Day?

I was going to start posting 2 per day for 5 days and then had 2 days where I only post 1.  Unfortunately, I can’t keep up with that pace.  I’ve managed to hang on for a while now on very little sleep, while struggling to write 2 chapters a day, but it’s finally caught up with me lol.

Anyway, I can definitely write ‘at least’ 1 chapter a day, though I’m going to try for 2 chapters every day.  Basically, for now, I’ll just keep posting 1 chapter per day, but on the days where I can write 2 chapters, I’ll post 2.

I’m so tired, I literally just stared at my speaker for like 5 minutes, trying to think of what else to say in this post… Really not the best state of mind to try to force myself to write a chapter in, so I’m going to go to sleep now and start working on chapter 268 tomorrow.

Nope, can’t think of anything else to write, except… “Nyah~, Mikey~, my brainbox feels all tingly inside~!” Yep, I’m starting to channel my inner JJ, which is never a good sign lol.

Scheduling

I’ll probably edit and post chapter 222 later on tonight… So yeah, sorry about all the weird hours I’ve been writing/posting things lol.  It feels like every day I’m on a completely different schedule :(.

Anyway, I’ll be posting 2 chapters a day again on Friday or Saturday.  Also, my assumption that Book 1 would end before chapter 260 was totally wrong roflmao.  Thus, I’m just gonna keep writing and I’ll make an announcement when I actual finish Book 1.

I honestly can’t think of anything else to talk about, so I’m gonna go back to writing now… Donations Page Link lol.

Surprise Early Chapter Release?

My days have recently been turned around backwards… Which means that I actually wake up in the morning and go to sleep at night now lol.  Thus, instead of maintaining the ‘normal’ scheduling, I decided to change it up a bit.

Basically, this is an early chapter, so the next one will probably be tomorrow at around the same-ish time.  Don’t expect another chapter 10 hours from now :P.

The main reason I wanted to post this so badly, is because people were confused for some reason… I didn’t think that a spontaneous dryadic transformation would be strange lol.  The reason she tried to ‘devour’ Michael, was obviously because he’s Chaotic and she’s Natural rofl.

Also, I wanted to say this, because it’s annoying when people keep asking it or simply being dicks.  This story isn’t translated ‘into’ English; I am the author of “Hardcore OP-ness”, “Immortal Soul” and “Questing”.  On another note, I go onto reddit sometimes and read comments that people post.  Usually they’re funny or at least nice, but if you say some fucked up, unreasonably mean shit about me or my stories, it’s normal for me to respond to it, right?  I wonder, do people think I’m above yelling at assholes who piss me off?

Is it immature to give a shit when people taunt you?  “Hardcore OP-ness” wasn’t written with closed-minded bigots as the intended audience lol.  I write it for the fans who are a lot like me; the people who want to read about a guy who goes to another reality and has fun.  There is a plot, if you look hard enough, but for the most part, it’s all about enjoying the ridiculousness of it all.  Indulging in a fictional world, where the possibilities are much higher than in our own.

Anyway, the first Book of OP-ness is probably going to end soon lol.  Actually, I kinda-sorta wrote the first chapter of Book-2 already, but I still haven’t finished writing Book-1, so nothing’s completely set in stone yet.  Not that I would literally carve a book out of stone, cause that’d be absurd…

So yeah, I’m currently working on chapter 249, so if you ‘Donate‘ or ‘Pledge‘, you would be like 35-ish chapters ahead of the releases.  That offer for any artists out there, is still valid lol.  Haven’t received any messages or comments from anyone who was interested in creating some art for the story yet.

Scheduling

Well, that illusory break seems to have vanished in an instant.  Anyway, considering that I actually wrote more during the break, than I normally do… Well, whatever, the point is that I’m going to start taking these fake-breaks once every week.

It’ll probably be Monday or Saturday?  I think it’s Monday today, but that doesn’t really matter.  It’s definitely the 14th, and since I like sevens, the next one should probably be on the 21st.

The reason is actually so that I can write faster, roflmao.  It didn’t really feel like a break, but oh well, I’m currently working on chapter 149.  Chapter 123 will be released in approximately 13 hours, and chapter 124 will come out an hour after that.

I would also like to thank all of my pledges and donors for their amazing support… though, I’m pretty sure I did that already in emails.  Still, I figured I might as well do it in this post, since I don’t really have anything else to talk about… Anyway, time to get back to writing, lol.

Taking a Break Tomorrow

As many of you have noticed, I’ve been working(Writing and Editing) every day for the past two months!  Before that, I was also writing nonstop at a terrifying pace, for at least a month… but even before that, I was constantly working on Immortal Soul.  Before that, I was working on Questing, and before that was Immortal Soul, lmfao.

However, when I was writing Immortal Soul and Questing, I had a lot more time and there wasn’t nearly as much pressure for me to release chapters consistently.  Anyway, I need a break, and by that, I mean that I’m gonna go a day without posting.

In six hours, I’m still going to release two chapters, but after that, it’ll be 48 hours before I post again.  This is just a heads up, so that people don’t ruin my break by constantly asking stupid questions like “When are you gonna post the next chapter?” or complain about how I went a day without posting lol.

Sigh, yes, I am sighing in reality at this moment, because while I say it’s a break… I’m still gonna be writing!  For fuck’s sake, it’s an illusory break!  The break doesn’t even exist for me!

Ugh, the alternative was cutting down the posts to 1 a day, but I don’t want that to become a habit lol.  Basically, what happened, was that I’ve been binge-reading lately, and it’s making me get all fucked up as far as the days are concerned.  So~, while it seems like 1 day for me, it actually turned into 2, and even though I wrote 2 chapters, I was starting to fall behind.

Thus, I need to have a post-less day, where I can focus on only writing, and not be under any pressure.  In a sense, it’s kind of like a break for me too, because I won’t have to edit or worry about answering people’s comments(Which takes more time than editing) rofl.

Maybe I should think about getting someone to help me moderate and deal with the site?  The incentive would be that they would read the chapters a little earlier than other people, since I schedule them ahead of when they’re released lol.  If anyone’s interested in something like that, let me know.

Also, for those of you who are supporting me on Patreon and paying me ten dollars a month to write… Well, there’s never a break for you, cause you can read at least ten or so days ahead of everyone else lol.  Although, there’s only 2 people doing that at the moment.

If you’d rather just of ten dollars or more, then you can still get that same treatment.  Remember, these are unedited chapters that may be subject to change lol.  If you have already made a donation of ten dollars or more, then let me know in a comment and I’ll send you an email.

If you’d rather judge me for giving preferential treatment to people who donate money… Then go ahead, because I’m too poor to afford a new goddamn computer, and when this one dies, I definitely won’t be able to keep writing roflmao.  If you’re getting me to post over a hundred chapters for free, the least you could do is not complain about the methods I need to use so that I can keep writing :P.

The new chapter comes out in about forty-five minutes.  This is basically me just copy/pasting my Donations page into the form of a post.  If you want to know why… Well, because not many people even read it?

I honestly don’t expect anything from this, because out of ten thousand people, there would probably only be a handful of amazing and super-awesome people who are willing to sacrifice their hard-earned money, in order to help me out.  It’s not as if no-one donates, cause there certainly have been a few, and even a single dollar would be incredibly generous from my perspective :).

I’ve kept donations anonymous, because unless the person writes “Mention that I donated on the donation page.” and gives me a name that they want me to call them, I’d feel awkward announcing their actual name lmfao.  Also, if you do the whole Patreon thing, then you set up your own profile, and there isn’t really much for me to do?

I’m not a translator, so I don’t have an infinite supply of other people’s work that I can consistently pump out. Thus, I can’t really ‘speed-up’ my writing depending on how much money people throw at me. Well, I could certainly try, but the quality would drop by a lot.

On the other hand, the list of things that I can’t afford to fix or replace is growing daily: ten year old computer that barely works, broken desk-chair, broken bed, broken ice-machine in my freezer, ect. Basically, I don’t expect to receive enough money from this to pay for any of those things.

However, I’ve had this blog for a while now, and I figured that since everyone else has one, I wanted a donation button as well. It may not be particularly glamorous, but at least it exists now.
