Chapter 30: Intermission

Michael expended a few hundred rounds of ammo, jogging down random hallways, avoiding the claws, teeth, fangs and hands of all the monsters that were constantly chasing him. He complained “Goddamn it! Where the fuck is this place?! I’m gonna be super pissed if I find out that I’m like, on a space-station or some bullshit like that! Well, it’d need to have artificial gravity, if that’s even possible… Considering that there’s a horde of crazy mutated zombie animals and people trying to eat me, I honestly wouldn’t be that impressed if I was in space!” Continue reading

Chapter 25: Salvation

In a serene and peaceful meadow, there was a small church, with the statue of a twelve-winged cat-girl inside. There were beautiful stained glass windows and several murals along the walls. The largest picture was of Michael in his cherubic Nephilim form, wearing brightly shining armor over everything but his head. He was smirking, while hovering in the sky, above a huge cathedral; a medieval city was in the background below him. Continue reading

Chapter 24: The Only Way Out

Chapter 23: Undead Eden

Captain Cummings was a slightly overweight, six-foot tall man with a buzz-cut and slightly muscular arms. He wasn’t a particularly ‘bad’ person, but like many of the other vampiric naval officers, he was terrified of Admiral Cain and his supernatural abilities. Continue reading

Chapter 20: Entering Atlantis

Each of those submarines was shaped like a bullet on the outside, while the inside was closer to a very narrow but long elevator. However, rather than a fragile window, there were simply cameras on the outer hull, which had their displays projected onto the ceiling, walls and floor. Continue reading

Chapter 239: The Duel for The Dwarven Republic

The conflict between The New Goblin Empire and The Dwarven Republic had been stagnant for a while, but both sides were merely gathering their forces and preparing for the eventual escalation. However, early in the morning on the day that the Battleground System finally came back online, the Empress herself had decided to make her move. Continue reading

Chapter 4: Immortality for the Win

Armed with a myriad of pebbles, Michael felt that they wouldn’t be very effective when the rain was obscuring his view, and the wind-speeds were so high. He continued to wander aimlessly, across the seemingly endless, muddy, grasslands, until he felt a sharp pain in his right leg and fell to the ground. Continue reading

Questing V1, Chapter 10: Between Heaven and Hell

Throughout Amara, every few seconds a loud ‘bang’ noise would ring out and reverberate across the walled city. A few loud explosions marked the end of what little military force the fortress possessed, and the entire population of nine-thousand or so citizens were holed up in their homes, hiding under their floorboards, and quite a few people were kneeling in the streets.
